A few friends helped me review the artistic expression of my previous AIGC videos, but aside from that, these were works I created independently. In the first half of this year, I felt the intense pull between being an independent creator and trying to form a team. I attempted to build a team, but a series of efforts all failed. Only now, at this very moment, am I willing to accept that I am an independent creator.
On January 22, 2021, I wrote the first note related to the Computational Universe. Three years have passed. These three years could have been enough to complete “The Computational Universe,” but life constantly changes, and I struggled in the wrong direction. I have always wanted to launch Siyuan Technology but have never found a way. On May 23, 2025, I finally decided to retreat into creative seclusion to work on Computational Universe novels and AI videos.
When did I start creating worlds? At age 13. I still remember spending one night with a few friends drawing out the map of the Beyond Realms, filled with English place names—some of which I’ve carried over into “The Computational Universe.” The book that most deeply influenced my world-building was, naturally, The Lord of the Rings. I finished reading the novel in fourth grade and became deeply fascinated by it.
